My Master's thesis: currently working on it - sometimes stressful, but a lot of fun! I am very happy with the preliminary results!
Pursuing a PhD: I enjoy my job at the university and the writing and research process of my thesis and I have a lot of open questions about NLP, language variation and geolinguistics. I want to explore these questions somehow and pursuing a PhD seems to be a great way of doing so.
Contributing more to OSS: I had a lot of fun contributing to folium and engaging in the discussions on the repo. Would love to block some time to continue OSS development!
Finding a balance: between making videos, coding for VFX projects and coding for NLP projects
The Indie Web: I am getting really invested in the indie web, a movement away from big tech, AI slop and corporate masquerade, towards a human-focussed internet. Love the idea and trying to incorporate it into all aspects of my work.
